Be a positive change for people with disability, families and carers living in rural communities.

This workshop is for anyone wanting to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme, anyone not eligible for the Scheme, as well as current participants, families/carers and nominees.

In this session, you will have the opportunity to:

  • better understand the NDIS and learn how to access the Scheme
  • understand how to make best use of a plan in a rural area
  • ask questions about using your funding, finding and working with service providers
  • provide valuable feedback on how Carers Queensland and the NDIS can better support our rural and isolated communities
  • find out how we can connect you to services, supports and activities in your community if you are not eligible for the Scheme.

Who are we?

Carers Queensland is working with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to deliver the Local Area Coordination Partner in the Community Program.
