About the Role

  • As part of our dynamic Try Test and Learn project team, the Support Administrator will provide valuable, efficient administration support to the project team as they work with carers, in helping them to shape their futures.
  • You will be highly skilled in administrative processes and procedures. You will be a team player, with a demonstrated ability to show initiative, who will professionally and ethically represent Carers Queensland.
  • You must be a flexible, outcome-focused individual possessing a can-do attitude.

In this role you will be:

  • Supporting the Career Counsellor in developing materials for Career Coaching and Counselling
  • Assisting with planning and promoting vocational opportunities for carers.
  • Assisting with planning, facilitating and publicising career opportunities and events such as workshops, job fairs, and orientation sessions
  • Be a key driver in completing & uploading monthly reports (DEX Reporting)
  • Assisting in preparing for weekly/fortnightly team meetings
  • Responsible for populating all database and career planning spreadsheets
  • Assisting Project Evaluators with Participant Surveys
  • Responding to expressions of interest and schedule intake meetings.
  • Other duties as directed by the RTO Manager

Note: References and suitability clearance/s required by legislation.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including  Working with Persons with Disability Check and Working with Children Check.
