Carers Queensland is improving awareness of accessibility and increasing the capacity of local councils to provide more inclusive and accessible places, spaces and services in their local communities.

We are supporting councils with guidance, training and the facilitation of engagement with people with disability in their local community, enabling varied input into the development and implementation of council access and inclusion plans and strategies.

We are also collaborating with key community stakeholders and networks in targeted areas to improve awareness around the benefits of accessibility to the wider community.
