Our Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) course is perfect for those who are seeking flexible learning. This is a 14-month blended-learning qualification, with self-paced online learning and face-to-face training.

This means that alongside your self-paced online learning, you will be assigned a trainer who will assist and navigate you along your learning journey.

You will need to attend 2 consecutive days of in-person sessions for each of the Block Workshops at our Lutwyche training room in Brisbane, Queensland.

As part of your Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), you will acquire valuable on-the-job experience. We can locate a host employer/organisation for your vocational placement. Certificate 3 Guarantee

The Certificate 3 Guarantee program is a key initiative under the Queensland Government’s Annual Vet Investment Plan. The Certificate 3 Guarantee provides a government subsidy to support eligible individuals in completing their first post-school Certificate III level qualification. It supports Queensland’s Year 12 graduates transitioning to employment by providing fee-free training in high-priority qualifications. As a Skills Assure supplier, Carers Queensland welcomes eligible students to explore the government-funded disability certificates we offer.

To be eligible for Certificate 3 Guarantee funding you must:

  • be a Queensland resident
  • be aged 15 years or above, and no longer at school.
  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency
  • not hold, or be enrolled in, a certificate III level or higher qualification (not including qualifications completed at school and foundations skills training).

Training is subsidised by the Queensland government and is paid to the RTO providing the training. There is a necessary co-contribution fee from the student for enrolment and training.
