Uncle Willie Prince is an Aboriginal man of Kalkatungu heritage born on Wakka Wakka country. He shares his story of being removed from his family, growing up in institutions, and finding independence, a career, and a place for his voice in the disability community.
Lisa Cox is an award-winning writer, presenter and advocate for disability representation. Lisa combines her background in marketing and business with her lived experience of disability to start conversations about how disability is seen in pop culture.
Geoff Munck is a Brisbane local with vision impairment and a passion for the visual arts. Geoff has developed Visual Translation Language or Vislan. It’s a technique for exploring an artwork through conversation, making art more accessible and meaningful for all.
Bella Busine is one half of the dynamic duo behind Accessible Brisbane. Together with her best friend Briana, Bella is on a mission to make Brisbane a more inclusive and accessible place for people with disability.
Kingaroy-born Dean Clifford has Epidermolysis Bullosa, and has taken his remarkable story of survival and success around the globe as a motivational speaker.
George Arkinstall runs Gardening A Difference, providing employment opportunities for people with autism or mental health challenges. He started the business in 2016 as a way of providing a job for his brother Harry, who has autism.
